
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB), am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follow the BACP Ethical Framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy.
I have collaborated with a wide range of organisations and have undertaken training and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in several specialist areas. Some of these are:
LGBTQ+:
- PACE, a charity promoting mental health and wellbeing of the LGBTQ+ community: one to one counselling
- London Friend, LGBTQ+ counselling service: trained in group therapy
HIV:
- Terence Higgins Trust: trained in counselling and treatment of HIV+ refugees (The Refugee Mentoring Project)
Child abuse
- MOSAC: trained to support the non-abusing parents and carers of children who have been sexually abused
Drugs and Alcohol training:
- RAPT (addicts in prison)
- City and Hackney Alcohol Services
- Westminster Support Project
- The Living Room (12 step therapy, Stevenage)
Refugees
- Refugee Support Centre, London: one to one multilingual/multicultural counselling
